Whenever you buy new cleats, you get confronted with several options even after you decided which model to buy. We explain what to wear on what pitch:

SG: SG cleats are used on soft ground pitches. Theses aluminum studs are screwed in studs and can be replaced. They are a little bit longer than FG studs and give you good support on wet and soft surfaces such as natural grass.
FG: FG stands for Firm Ground. You can basically wear them on every natural grass pitch.
AG: AG stands for Artificial Grass. SG and FG are not geared to perform on the material that artificial grass is made off. Playing on turf with FG cleats can damage them. AG cleats instead perform better on turf and the material does not wear up that fast.
